It has started! You are a Political Science student now! One of your first subjects in Political Science is HISMOW. This course provides an overview of the history of the modern world since 1750 – specifically the parts of that history that is relevant to students of political science. The course focuses in particular on the transnational historical genesis and development of global modernity – in Europe as well as in the the Netherlands.
